30 Years of CDNM

2023: Celebrating 30 Years of CDNM(ANZ)

The Council of Dean of Nursing and Midwifery (Australia and New Zealand) (CDNM) (or the ‘Council’) is delighted to celebrate our 30 Years Anniversary this year.

In our celebrations, we would like to especially thank our partners and member institutions who have been fundamental in the development and growth of the CDNM over these 30 years.

Our 30 Years Anniversary celebrations will be future-focused, emphasising the CDNM’s role in influencing and advancing the nursing workforce through education and will profile the work of the four pillars in support of the CDNM's Strategic Plan.

Our Celebrations

Over the course of 2023, we will be celebrating the Council of Deans of Nursing and Midwifery (Australia and New Zealand) (CDNM)'s influence on nursing and midwifery Trans-Tasman education, practice development, research, leadership and workforce.

We will present a series of events and activities are that feature prominent nurse and midwifery leaders who are making a positive impact to the education, workforce, research and/or First Nations health in the nursing and midwifery sector.

Throughout the year, we will explore the CDNM's role in these key areas, placing a strong focus on the future of nursing and midwifery education and workforce. In doing so, we aim to showcase the CDNM's mission in leading and representing higher education for nurses and midwives across Australia and New Zealand.
